Equinox (Oxford) Ltd
The Cultural Atlas of Russia was prepared by the then book packagers, Equinox (Oxford) Ltd. It was published subsequently in Britain by Phaidon, and in the US by Facts On File, in 1989. I was given the titles of the maps that the editor intended to include, and on that basis prepared my compilations entirely independently, including research for the details. About a quarter of the maps were compiled by me, among them maps on social history as well as ecclesiastical issues, and the inevitable depicting of the territorial changes that occurred during the respective periods. I also provided Equinox with source material for many further maps.
