Research Group for Eastern European History: Series of Historical Maps

Entrusted by the Research Group for Eastern European History at Budapest University, I compiled a series of about forty maps on Eastern and Central European history from the period of the Great Migrations until after WWII. Most of these maps dealt with aspects of the territorial changes that took place during the respective periods in detail, whilst others concentrated on socio-economic changes, and the related upheavals of the area. The late Professor Perényi briefed me about the task in the broadest terms only, it was then up to me to find the most useful sources and methods to compile the maps.
